Our Family is back together...
When I posted last Caleb was with Grandma Shepherd, we were missing him very much. Grandma brought him home early on Friday morning, I was so excited to see him, he grabbed me and I grabbed him, and didn't want to let go it was so sweet, he smiled so big. After our reunion Grandma told me she was going to the hospital to see Grandpa Shepherd (My dads father) he passed out on Thursday, he went to the hospital to get checked out, they found that he was bleeding internally, they transferred him to Ogden Regional hospital, he wasn't doing well, they finally stabilized him, but he has been in the ICU for the past few days. Today was a big day they stopped some of the medicines, he is more alert, and he is breathing on his own. We were able to go to the hospital to see him last night, the medicines were keeping him very drowsy, but he knew we were there, it was really hard to see him hooked up to so many machines, it brought tears to my eyes! I just wanted to express to everyone, how much I love my Grandpa Shepherd, what an amazing man, he has always been such and example to me, he never forgets to send a card to let us know how much he loves us, I always look forward to his cards. He is an amazing gardener, every summer he plants the most spectacular garden you have ever seen! He never forgets to send some of the produce for us. Thinking back, when I was a child, I always looked forward to going to Grandma and Grandpa's,to spend a few weeks at their home during the summer, they kept us busy doing something almost every minute... How lucky we were that they enjoyed having us spend time with them! I Love You So Much Grandpa!!
